- When Powell pulls the knife out of his chest,
close to the end of the movie, right after
Lara met her father and then turned the knife
towards Powell, it is obvious that the knife
is fake. When you observe the bloodstains
on the blade you see that the blade is actually
coming out of the handle instead of out of
the body... =) - Chris
- When Lara goes back in time sometime along
the way she turns from soaking wet from jumping
in the orrary pool to bone dry even though,
if she's gone back in time so have the wet
clothes. - Jesus
- The orrary starts to turn when the final
stage of the alignment begins, but just so
they had a way to kill **** they (produces/script
writers) kept it turning even though we see
before **** falls in that the plants have
now disaligned. - Jesus
- I might have missed something but in the
Cambodian temple Brahman turns from gold to
rock, grey rock. - Jesus
- In the scene when she is a little girl with
her father, and he is telling her about the
planets and her mother, the locket he shows
her is gold. However, at the end of the film,
when Powel has the locket, it has changed
colour to silver. - Lara
Croft
- When Lara is about to bungee ballet, the
bungee ropes themselves are on the side of
the balcony, yet when she is actually bungee-ing,
the ropes are suddenly on either side of the
big room she is in, so she is bungee-ing in
the middle of the room. - Lara
Croft
- At the very beginning of the film, she is
hanging upside down on a rope, and when she
lands, she has two gun holsters straps around
her legs. But straight after that, she has
one. - Lara Croft
- I know that I'm not supposed to comment
on the whole movie, but I have to in order
to make my point as in why I see the whole
movie itself as a goof. I feel that the whole
movie was messed up by fact of the producers
couldn't even get Lara's past history correct
about how she lost her father, mother, and
prearranged fiancee. If they are going to
make a movie about a famous comic book/video
game character, please at least stick with
the BASIC trademarks that made them famous,
(this type of error is also seen in the movie
X-Men). In Lara's case, it would be blue tank
top, tan khaki shorts, brown knee-boots, and
a regular braid (not a French braid which
was used during the movie). Also, her butler's
name is supposed to be Jeeves. - LadyLaraCroft
- Ok, now for the actual movie flubs. If you
noticed at various points during the movie,
Lara's breasts were lopsided and you could
tell that she stuffed, (I even heard a male
movie viewer yell this out during the theater,
so it wasn't just my fiancee and I that noticed).
- LadyLaraCroft
- Also, during the end fight scene, she placed
her guns on the ground; but afterwards, while
she's escaping from the cave, they are back
in her holders. It never shows her picking
them back up. - LadyLaraCroft
- In the beginning of the movie she has small
breasts and then later on in the mover her
breasts have gotten bigger. - Lara
Croft
- In the beginning, the scene where Lara is
fighting the robot she places her guns back
in her holsters at one point, if you watch
closely, she misses the holster completely
with one gun. - Ripley
- Near the end of the movie Lara is trying
to get out of some sort of pool and if you
know Angelina Jolie you know that she has
a tattoo of Billy Bob Thornton's name on her
arm. Well you can see it pretty clearly as
she is getting out of the water. - EnJin
- I love the movie but one thing that really
annoys me about it is when she is doing the
bungee ballet she runs around the room after
that one guy that is in the middle of the
room, she then cuts his rope and he goes spinning
to the floor but it is lain to see his night
vision goggles fall off on the way down but
when it shows him on the floor he has them
on.... strange!!!! - markshter
- Do you really think that the ancient people
that created the orrar (giant spinning thing
w/ planets) would have known about ALL of
the planets in our solar system? I thought
that Pluto was discovered in the 18 or 1900s.
And this ruin was centuries old, right? How
could the ancient people have built such a
machine? - stevo
- Info: I
believe Pluto was discovered in the 1930s.
- (Factual errors) All through the movie they
talk about the stages of alignment of the
planets. This is completely incorrect because
if two planets were aligned, and later the
3rd, then 4th...etc, by the time they aligned,
the first two would have moved OUT of alignment.
Planets move at all different speeds, so the
only way all 9 planets could align is if it
happened all at once, and it would only be
for a matter of a second, Not in stages like
in the movie. - bacherz
