- Jack Traven shoots his partner, Harry Temple,
in the right leg, but in the rest of the movie
Harry complains about his left leg.
- According to the shadow of the buss when
it jumps over the section of the bridge, which
is missing, the bridge is whole.
- Howard Payne snaps his fingers with a hand
that doesn't have a thumb.
- When Keanu enters the rooftop where they
find the cable to hold the elevator, there
is a 3rd man shown briefly in the right side
of the screen. His weapon is clearly visible
for awhile. - PsykoOps
- When the bus is going over the unfinished
bridge, if you slow the movie down and go
frame by frame, you can see the bus go up
at an incline before it reaches the end of
the bridge. And also, how can the bus go on
an incline??? - Vic Cherubini
- When the officers are waiting to see what
floor the elevator is going to stop on, for
every floor you can hear a beep. If you count
down with the numbers as you see them, and
keep counting as the camera takes shots of
the officers expressions, you can hear that
there are too many beeps to match the numbers.
- Infinity
- I can't remember the exact scene but Jack
(Keanu Reeves) tells everyone that they need
to move to the other side of the bus. When
everyone gets up and moves to one side, one
guy gets up and moves to the wrong side. In
the next shot he's on the correct side. -
navylady2
- When Reeves and Bullock are sliding on the
board (toward the end), watch the cuts. You
can clearly tell where the stuntman for Reeves
enters the picture, as he is the one wearing
a wedding ring! - JL
- Right after the door to the Jaguar gets
taken off by the bus the guy then runs into
the barrels of water, but there is water on
the windshield BEFORE he hits the water. -
Dani
- When the passengers are transferring from
one bus to another as they circle the airstrip,
you can see the film crew reflection in the
bus doors. - fry
- When a woman is about to fall off the bus,
Jack reaches for her and grabs her, but then
the camera changes angles and it shows Jack
dive for her, but he doesn't reach her. -
Red
- In the part where jack is taking the handcuffs
of the gang guy or whatever and he says "Hey
I didn't mean to shoot the guy." if you
watch where the door is you can see a camera
man sitting there then duck you can tell he
is a camera man because he has headphones
on and why he have ducked (watch in slow-mo)
- BaM
- When the bus is heading for the gap in the
freeway, and the camera goes to an angle with
the bus speeding toward it, and the wide load
truck with all of the cops on it, in the background...you
can tell that in post-production of the movie,
they played that scene in fastforward to make
the bus look like it's going faster than it
really is, because you can see the cops in
the backround moving in fast motion on the
wide load truck! - Ryan
- In the end of the movie after the train
goes through the wall, u can see that when
the credits show that the train is facing
the blue van, well if u look in the background
you can see the road with people, well thats
not the way the train crashed through, the
wall that it went through is on the other
side < This is really a mistake or a location
error. - Rick
- First the fuel tank of the bus gets punctured
by a screwdriver. Then you are shown fuel
gauge dropping down in only a few seconds!
The hole is insignificant compared to the
size of a bus fuel tank (usually around 200
liters or more). If the tank was already that
empty how come the gauge was way up and dropping.
Besides if they are loosing fuel that fast
surely the bus would come to a stop very fast.
I think it's an insult to an average persons
intelligence. - Calvin
- As Jack and Annie are sliding out of the
bus on the floor panel, it is simply a floor
panel. When the camera goes to a shot of them
sliding away, through all the orange cones,
you can see that they are sliding on a wheeled
panel. - Macrae
- In the beginning of the airport scene, there
is a ad with a zebra on it on one side of
the bus. A few shots later, it's gone. Then
it reappears. - Cass
- Toward the end of the movie, it is established
that Payne has a camera trained on everyone
in the bus. Before knowledge of this is imparted
upon Reeves, Payne explicitly instructs him
not to try anything funny. Presuming then,
that Payne had been capable of watching the
action the whole time, (e.g., calling Annie
a "Wildcat"), why then did he seem
either unable or unwilling to do anything
about Reeves being pulled up through the access
panel from under the bus after trying to defuse
the bomb? He must have seen it, as the only
way he could have missed it was to have been
sitting on the john for the last sixteen minutes.
I say it is because he would have detonated
everyone into itty-bitty pieces and the plot
of the movie would have gone with it. - Robert
V.
- (Continuity) In the part where Jack is going
into the subway he places his gun on top of
the sub. Somehow he is able to roll straight
into the subway with his gun. - EthanS
Corrected
Goofs
- Just as the bus lands from jumping the gap
in the freeway, you can easily see that there
are no passengers in the bus. - Ryan
- Correction: After
the bus lands from the big jump, the passengers
are bracing for the impact by ducking...that
is why is LOOKS as though there are no
passengers. (VHS) - Notorious
"R"
- (Revealing mistakes) GAH! I can't believe
no one already noticed this one. In the scene
where the first bus blows up, and Jack is
talking to Hopper on the phone, Hopper says
that he wants his money by 11am. Jack then
looks at his watch which says 8:05, but if
you look in the top left corner of the watch
screen, it says ALM. This is what time his
watch alarm is set to go off. Not the actual
time!!! - Froggy
- Correction: Actually,
the ALM just means that his alarm is set,
it does not mean that is the time it will
go off. - bacherz
Directed by:
Jan de Bont
Starring: Sandra
Bullock, Jason Patrick, Willem Dafoe
- Why is there not only 1, but *2* chainsaws
in the housekeeping closet on an ocean cruise
ship? - Scott
- When the main character is shooting at the
bad guy with the shotgun, he shoots, cocks
it (it's a pump-action gun) then it moves
to a new scene, and he cocks it again, impossible?
I think so! - Vic Cherubini
- Not a goof but still cool. Near the end
when there is the real big explosion, if you
look closely in the top right hand corner
at the debris and freeze frame, there is a
cow flying through the air. Since this was
directed by Jan De Bont (Twister), this guy must have a thing for
flying cows. - Greg
- When there is smoke coming out of the vents
on the ship, many people strip down their
clothing to put over the vents. Miraculously,
a couple scenes later they are fully dressed
again. - dawn
