• When that woman die in the elevator. You know the one that got stuck as it was going down. An accident like that would cause both major head trauma and neck injury. So it would be impossible for her to be a zombie because a person with kind of injury cannot be a zombie. But in the film you see her as a zombie. Did I miss something in the film. Was she saved before her doom? - TAZ

• When the woman tries to get out of the elevator and she gets stuck, you can see floor bend underneath her arm when the elevator goes down. - Sub-Zero

• The note in the mansion (it says something along the lines of "Your dreams will come true") is written in a different way in the flashback of the guy actually writing it. - Sub-Zero

• In the beginning there is a note which says today all your dreams come true in two lines, but later the hand writing is totally different and there are three lines. (Special Edition) - Mikee

• In the major fight scene (the one where Rain gets bitten)notice that there is fog on the floor. Later on when the cop who is handcuffed finds the keys no fog. Also when Rain and the T-Virus victim are on the ground there is no fog. (DVD) - dj_retard

• (Continuity) In the hallway with the cutting laser, the leader of the military team is cut into pieces by the laser. Yet, when they show the bodies a minute later, you cannot not see the pieces of the military leader. (DVD) - Mike Holly

• (Crew/equipment visible) Near the beginning when you see the man having coffee splashed onto him and the woman says some people, if you look right above them, slightly to the left, you will see the head of a microphone. The same thing happens when the man is trying to open the doors to the red queens lair to get the others out. (DVD) - sarah

• (Crew/equipment visible) As they get of the train and get to the top of the stairs the women (who has memory loss) says to the man "you listen to me" etc, you can see the microphone above her head. (DVD) - sarah

• (Crew/equipment visible) As they all enter the labs which are full of water the man (who also has memory loss) says "what happened here", above his head you can see a microphone. This happens 2 times in the same place with the same man, the other bit is when he says jesus. (DVD) - sarah

• (Factual errors) Look closely to the girls neck when it gets hit by the laser in the lighted hallway to the red queens chamber. the neck slides off the girl, but in order for it to slide off it needs to be cut on an angle... and yes it, but the laser cuts in straight lines and therefore she should have no angle allowing her neck to slid off. • (Factual errors) At the last fight scene, in the train, the woman put's an iron pipe trough he tongue of the monster. the monster hits the rail, end is electrocuted. shouldn't the woman be electrocuted to? she is still holding the pipe. - mogli

Commented Goofs

• This is for all the guys out there. Towards the end of the movie, the very sexy Milla Jovovich is lying on an operating table with nothing on but a hospital patient gown. When she ends up on the floor, she positions her leg and her "vaginal region" can clearly be seen (for about a second or two). Oh my! - Stevo

• (Factual errors) When the main characters (can't remember their names) the Red Queen says that your nails and hair still grow after death. They were wrong, we begin to dehydrate and our skin shrivels up making the appearance that our nails and hair still grows. - Unknown

Corrected Goofs

• (Spoiler) In the movie they walk in the mirrored room the tomboy girl gets her head cut off by lasers, later she comes back. (Theatre)
  • (Spoiler) Correction: This isn't the tomboy dying it's the nurse. Watch again the nurse checks almost everyone while the tomboy is there too. Your just trying to ruin the best movie. (Widescreen) - mikee
    • (Spoiler) Correction: Ok just to clear up the confusion left here, the tomboy looking girl is Michelle Rodriguez from Fast and the Furious and she wasn't killed until the end of the movie. If you paid attention you would have seen that there were two girls that were on the squad and the other one got her head cut off in the hallway to the red queen room. (DVD) - Moosh

     

Explained Goofs

• Periodically during the film you can see a boom mic above the characters head. One scene in particular at the beginning before all the crap happens, when that guy is about to enter the elevator you can see it to the left of his head. Ha Ha Ha!!! (Theatre) - ryohazuki1986
  • Addition: Also, in some scenes, you can see some kind of black flap above the camera. This is best seen when the black man is walking in the hallway to the door of the red queen and the lights on the walls are on. (Theatre) - Bart
    • Explanation: There are no microphones or camera flaps in the movie at the theatre, these are only present in downloaded versions. (Theatre) - Jake

• (Spoiler) In the scene where the troops are trying to gain access to the Red Queens chamber and they get killed by lazers, The Nurse gets her head severed, and the Commander is chopped into pieces. Later they both, pieces and all, disappear from the hallway not only walking out when they should be dead even by zombie standards (Severed spinal cord or heavy head trauma) but leaving no blood at all on the floor.   • Explanation: The reason there is no blood from the laser scene is a result of heat. When any blood vessels have extreme heat applied to them they will seal (cauterize). Therefore no blood. - Chad B
  • Explanation: I think that the reason that there is no bodies is that because the film makers where doing a homage to the games. After awhile the zombie bodies just disappear. Play one and see. - thegreatpanda
