- Although Clark is supposed to be sledding
down a hill on a normal snow saucer, the one
he ends up riding on not only has fins on
the bottom, but it also has a wire attached
to the front of it. - Jim M
- In the very beginning aerial shot of the
Griswold's house, the RV is already parked
in the driveway. Cousin Eddie and crew don't
arrive until way into the movie. - Jess
- Clark Griswald encounters a blue pickup
at the start of the movie. There are three
passengers at the start of the scene. The
rest of the scene shows only two. - pat
- In the part where Clark is hanging the Christmas
lights, as he is falling back on the ladder
the trees in the background are in full bloom,
yet it is the dead of winter. - Jay Wolfe
- If the dates shown on the Advent calendar
are correct, then the full moon shown throughout
the movie last well over a week. - 94McBill
- After the lights on the house don't work,
Clark goes up to check them all after everyone
else goes to sleep. When he is shown all alone
outside late at night, the background (including
the full moon) is obviously a painting. -
Muzakfanatic
- Near the end of the movie, take a close
look at the reindeer and Santa as they go
flying through the air. You can clearly see
the matte behind it that they used to film
against a blue screen. - canesfan
- The scene where Ellen opens the door to
call Clark to dinner after he has fallen in
nearby bushes, she clearly slips as she comes
outside. (VHS) - simpl2remember
- It's winter, it's slippy
- ads reality to the scene.
Commented
Goofs
- In the scene where they are eating dinner
Clark tells the kids that he heard on the
radio an airline pilot spotted Santa's sled
on his way in to New York but Santa rides
a sleigh.
- Comment: Well
maybe sled and sleigh are the same thing
to them. Ever think about that? I guess
you didn't since you made up such a bad
mistake. - brandi17ftx
