- When Shang Tsung comes in to the dining
room thing and was going to make Sub-Zero
"demonstrate things to come" the
monks kick everyone out of the way and clear
the tables out to, but when they move a table
and flip it over forward they flip it directly
down the path they were clearing. When Sub-Zero
and the monk began to fight the table was
gone and the path was perfectly clean, right
were they flipped the table. - Kendall
- When Scorpion and Johnny Cage are fighting
and Johnny Cage gets beat up, he jumps up
to grab the pole looking thing and if you
watch as he turns around to jump there is
a massive hole in his pants. Then it vanishes.
Cool movie. - Kendall
- During the fight with Liu Kang and Reptile,
Reptile throws Liu against what looks to be
a cement pole of some sort, but it is cement
in the movie and Reptile throws him and when
he hits it it shakes like crazy. - Kendall
- When Shang Tsung takes Liu Kang's head and
says, the chosen one sarcastically, he smashes
Liu Kangs head against the floor right on
his nose. When he gets up and says, I am the
chosen one, he looks healthier than ever,
not a scratch. That would have smashed his
nose in. Mk sucks. - Kendall
- When searching for Kitana in the catacombs
and Johnny Cage explains that he can smell
Kitana's perfume, Liu Kang's reply is "I
don't smell anything," but his lips do
not move.
- When Sonya is in the Hong Kong club she
is walking through the dancing people with
a shotgun and then sees a guard of Shang Tsung
and fires. When she hits the guard he goes
ughhhhhhh and shakes, and then like 2 seconds
later he flies througe the window. At first
I thought the second shot made him do this,
but then i realised that the movie just sucks.
- Kendall
& Matt
- During the Lui Kang/Reptile fight, when
Lui Kang does a spinning hook kick, you can
clearly see that Reptile is waiting for his
que to do his hook kick even though Lui Kang's
appeared that it made contact. The whole scene
was choreographed sloppy. - Kendall
- When Liu Kang and Sonya and Johnny Cage
are walking around looking for Kitana, and
they are like "I think she went this
way" they are clearing cobwebs out of
their way, so how could anyone have gone that
way without clearing the cobwebs first? -
Richard
- (Audio/visual unsynchronised) When Johnny
Cage drops his luggage down the stairs, the
camera backs away as the bags slide down,
but the people and the background get smaller
much faster than the cg bags and by the time
the scene cuts Johnny's bag is bigger than
him and barely fits on the steps, kind of
ruins the whole "massive stairs"
look when a suitcase takes up 7 steps. - Scorpion
Commented
Goofs
- During the reptile, Liu Kang fight again,
Liu Kang does his bicycle kick and it makes
a distinctive kicking sound. When it shows
Liu Kang's face it is going in slow motion,
but the noice of the kicks clearly keeps the
same speed as they were when it was in normal
motion. His feet were even going slow and
it still made the fast sound. I could have
made a better movie and Sonya Blade's eyes
are spread like a gay guys ass cheeks. - Kendall
& Matt
- Comment: "spread
like a gay guys ass checks. - Kendall
& Matt" - not a very nice thing
to say, especially when "gay guys"
is followed by two guys names... - Ignite
- When Sub-Zero and Liu Kang fight and they
keep throwing each other it's so staged. -
Kendall
- Comment: Were
you expecting them to kill each other
on set?
- The fight could have
been done to look more intense.
Corrected
Goofs
- During the fight with Reptile, Liu Kang
gets knocked through a brick wall that is
about 2 feet thick. I don't think so. - Kendall
- Correction: Honestly,
how is this anywhere near to being a goof/blooper?
It's Mortal Kombat - so the guy gets kicked
through a wall 2 ft thick - how can you
single this scene out to be unrealistic
when the whole movie is obviously unrealistic.
- Ignite
- The movie is based on the video game. So
I expect they have all the charecters that
are in the game. The first movie is based
on the first game. But in the movie Reptile
is a charecter but in the game he is not a
charecter nor a hidden. He is created in the
Second Mortal Kombat game. - TAZ
- Correction: The
game is based on several of the games.
The sequal - Total Annihilation, has characters
that came into play during Mortal Kombat
4, for N64. Therefore it is not a blooper/goof
that Reptile was in the movie - which
represents Mortal Kombat as a whole, rather
than being based on a -single- game. -
Ignite
- Correction : Reptile is not created
in the second game. He is a hidden character
in the first one who can be fought at
the bottom of the pit if you win the pit
stage with a double flawless and a fatality.
(only when there are objects flying trough
the moon.) - Sambo
- A car is visible in the forest that Cage
and Scorpion fight in. - The
Big J
- Correction:
In the forest it's a city light and/or
building not a car. (DVD) - none
- In the Johnny Cage vs. Goro scene, after
Goro gets punched in his "weak spot,"
Rayden hits some guy on the shoulder then
says "Sorry," his mouth doesn't
move. And if you listen hard, you will notice
it's not even Rayden's voice. - Sub-Zero
- Correction:
Rayden does move his mouth when talking
and in the forest its a city light and/or
building not a car. (DVD) - none
Explained
Goofs
- Again during the Reptile, Liu Kang fight,
Liu kicks Reptile over a bench and you can
clearly see the numbers of Reptile's costume
on his foot. And when Liu did his bike kick,
no one would backflip like that after being
kicked. - Kendall
- Explanation:
Mortal Kombat (like the game) - was not
intended to be a realistic movie! - Ignite
- When Scorpion blows up, like 2 seconds later
there's a picture of Johnny Cage, saying to
my fan that I loved to Cage, or something
like that, why would Scorpion have that if
he was fighting Cage? - Rick
- Explanation: Ok,
maybe you haven't played the game before...
is that still possible? There are several
special features in the game such as fatality,
and friendship finishing moves. Cage's
friendship finishing move includes this
picture being held by his opponent. -
