• In the vault scene, Krieger is having so much trouble maintaining his grip when Ethan is right above the floor trying not to touch it, and then with great difficulty pulls him up to the height of the computer. Yet, when William Donlow is about to enter the room Krieger somehow summons the strength to pull Ethan twenty feet high in about two seconds. How is this possible? - Joe Toler

• During the fight in the lab, when a certain person goes to pick up the chimaera virus, Ethan reloads his gun. In the next shot, he loads his gun again. Perhaps he loaded the gun, used the entire clip, and needed to reload, all of which happened in seconds? - NovaStar

• I don't really know how big of a goof this is. The part where Ethan meets the lady. This is right before she goes upstairs. Anyway the background sound is from a computer game Rollercoaster Tycoon.

• During a fight scene with Tom, his nose is full of blood. Magically in the next shot the blood has disappeared and at the end of the fight it has reappeared. Now you see it, now you don't! - LeonPhoenix

• Tom's bike gets side smashed during the film and has serious dents on the left. What a miracle! later in the film, the dents have not just vanished but reappeared on the other side of the bike. - LeonPhoenix

• Probably the worst goof in the movie is when one of the bad guys is shown driving a car. Wasn't that guy killed earlier? You ask. Why yes you're right! Maybe he was reincarnated, or maybe its is other evil twin....but its probably yet another goof for MI2. - LeonPhoenix

• Tom is shown wearing a seatbelt in some shots and in the same sequence, in different shots the belt comes off...and goes back on. Keep your belt on Tom, or you'll cause an accident! - LeonPhoenix

• During a bike chase during the movie, on the motorbikes the type of tires change to suit the terrain. WOW! the pit stop team for them MI2 agents are faster than the ones in formula 1! - LeonPhoenix

• When a nasty villain is slashed across the face with a knife a large wound is visible. The guy must have had plastic surgery because in the next scene the wound has vanished! - LeonPhoenix

• Why is it that Tom Cruise has metal boots which he can surf land with when he is on the motorbike, but when he is in the tunnels he is quite as a mouse? Some wardrobe collection he has! - [S]isq[o]

• Why, at the end of the movie when Tom sees the gun in the sand and kicks it does it fly straight up (ya that can happen) and hover there while Tom looks at it spins around falls down and finally grabs it after about 7 seconds of the gun being frozen in midair? - Joe

• In the scene where Tom shoots the white Ford Tarus it blows up and he shoots two more times while the flaming car is in the air. - Michael Farris

• The green SUV that slams into Tom's bike, hits a white SUV and brakes its headlight. In the next shot there is only a gray ford Focus. The white SUV has disappeared. Soon after the driver of the green SUV hits a blue car and flips over it. If you look closely the dummy driver in the driver seat is wearing glasses but the real driver wasn't. - Michael Farris

• Right before the scene where Nya is walking on the cliff. The helicopter is shown flying right beside the AMP tower. When it returns to Nya the AMP tower is in the background but where's the helicopter? - Michael Farris

• In the horse racing scene, when Hue looks down and scratches his finger, the camera goes to Nya. There is a man wearing a blue tie and a woman wearing a purple dress directly behind her. A second later they are replaced by two ladies. - Michael Farris

• When Ethan goes into biocyte Shawn Ambrose says "He won't be able to destroy the virus in those guns." But he does. - Michael Farris

• In the part were Ethan is destroying the virus in the guns, A bad guy runs up and starts shooting the glass, It shatters and starts to fall. A second latter the same guy is still shooting only sliding on his back, the same glass that already shattered and fell shaters again. - Michael Farris

• In the part where some one puts a bomb on the van Luther (Ving) has 10 seconds but it takes him about thirty. The bomb blows and a telephone booth is in the fire. Where did that come from? Then Billy says "Luther, Luther!" but his lips don't move. - Michael Farris

• When Luther comes up coughing from the fire he's wearing his vasache jacket, the sleeve is torn off and it is covered with ashes. Later in the movie he says "That pumb put a hole is my vasache." and his jacket is like new. - Michael Farris

• When Ethan jumps out of the building there are 3 identical white cars lined up, where is the blown-up van. - Michael Farris

• In the part where the wallace gets run over by the transfer trailer. It never slows down. - Michael Farris

• In the scene where Tom and Shawn Ambros charged each other one the motorcycles when they hit they are going about 60 MPH each. That's about a 120 MPH together. I wonder how they could get up and fight for 15 minutes. - Josh

• In the fight scene on the beach, Shawn picks up a rock and hits Ethan in the head with it. His face is covered with sand. In the next shot his face is completely clean. - Michael Farris

• In the scene where Tom Cruise is on the motorcycle (The infamous scene where the tires keep changing) as he is being chased by the black Nissan SUV, The SUV rams him, first of all, there is no way in hell a 6-cylinder Nissan SUV can keep pace with a European racing motorcycle, 2nd, if ANYBODY gets rammed by an SUV on their motorcycle as hard as Tom did, they would bail, and 3rd, Tom swings the bike around and starts shooting at the people inside the SUV, he is about 10 feet away from the SUV, he fires a shot, and it takes a second and a half for the bullet to reach the windshield! A bullet that travels 10 feet in a second and a half... hmmm.. - Mr Tragedy

• Okay, remember the part in the movie where Ethan makes Ambrose kill his own partner? Well if you look closely at the mask Ethan is wearing when he's running out of the building, right before he takes it off, you can see clearly the plastic mask of Ambrose's partner (it looks white and unreal). - Betazeta Jamaican

• The scene with the two motorcycles, the bad guy (forget his name) shoots the glass on Tom's motorcycle. Then in two point zero three seconds the glass is not broken, then it's broken again. It repeats it like 20 times. (It shows it when it's not broken when he does a stunt with the motorcycle). - Pistachio

• The scene where Ethan and Nya are in the cars at the beginning of the movie when she says "you have to catch me" then slams into Ethans car in the next scene the side of her car isn't damaged. (DVD) - toddler
