- In the scene in the barn when William is
being taught to dance, the one showing him
is punched by the other guy. If you watch
it, his nose is bleeding on one side, then
in the next shot, it's on the other side.
This happens several times in the scene. -
Tanna
- At one point during a tournament Will says,
"To think it's the first time I've broken
a lance!" Earlier during practice and
when he took the dead guy's place he broke
at least four. - mandie
- In the scene where William is on the street
where his father lives, he is talking to a
little girl. In this scene it is raining and
the film cuts away several times. Each time
it cuts to a different perspective his hair
is slicked back, and then it is down in his
face. Also, his hair is very curly in some
scenes and straight in others. (HBO) - Dawn
- Near the end when William is getting ready
to joust, you see the woman in the background
come, bend down to talk to the father, then
sit, when it changes camera angles, she was
standing up again. I saw this movie a while
ago, so I can't remember much of the details...sorry.
- shannon
- Towards the end of the movie, William was
hurt on his right shoulder while jousting.
It showed that there was a hole in his shirt
and some blood. A few scenes later there was
no hole in his shirt and the blood was a lighter
color. (VHS) - The
Tonester
- Right after the first sword fight scene
while william's friend said"in the garden
of his turbulence." exactly at the same
time two woman in the stands put her arms
up to cheer and put them down quickly because
it was at the wrong time. (VHS) - The
Tonester
- (Audio/visual unsynchronised) In one of
the deleted scene, where Chauncer is giving
his speech at the rack, at the end of this
scene Prince Edwards Knights William, He says
" I knight you sir william" his
lips do not move. (DVD) - Freddie
- (Revealing mistakes) When William is brought
to Chaucer by The Summoner and the Pardoner,
and finds him naked again having just lost
his clothing gambling, he has a laceration
at the top of his left shoulder which disappears
when the camera shoots him from the back.
- PaCaTex
- (Continuity) During the "golden years"
song/dance routine, Count Adhemar is viewed
in close up - but he is gone from the background
during the dance shots. (Special Edition DVD)

Commented
Goofs
- Why would Wat punch Chaucer in the first
place? If they were teaching Will to dance
then Wat would have to dance the ladie's part,
so he would have to "follow like a girl".
- mandie
- Comment:
Well, if u think about it, if u were a
guy how would you like to "follow
like a girl" with another guy?? -
M
- Will, Wat, Roland and Chaucer are supposed
to be from England but they speak with American
accents a lot of the time. (DVD) - mandie
- Comment: It
would be strange for Will to speak with
an American accent, as he (Heath Ledger)
is from Australia orginally. - AngelGDH
Corrected
Goofs
- During the scene on the road where William
first meets Chaucer, there is at least one
point where the 'naked' man is wearing underwear.
After William threatens Chaucer with his dagger,
Chaucer sits up and there is a short frontal
shot reveling white patterned boxers where
there really should be none. - Nerillka
- Correction:
Actor Paul Bettany (Chaucer) was completely
naked in the scene where he meets William
for the first time. He wasn't wearing
boxer shorts. Listen to the DVD audio
commentary for further proof. (DVD) -
Morticia
- Older William's eyes are brown, while younger
William's eyes are blue. (DVD) - surfnangel
- Correction:
Surfangel, kid's eyes can change color
up to the age of 10, and lil' Will looked
about 8 to me. - mandie
- Also, in the end of the movie as Jocelyn
turns so you can see the back of her dress
can be seen, you see a zipper. I do not believe
zippers were around in the 14th century. (DVD)
- surfnangel
- William and his buddies are supposed to
be in France in the beginning of the movie,
right? How come no one there speaks French?
(DVD) - mandie
- Correction:
The reason the main characters are not
speaking French, is because they are actually
from England. - Laura
- Comment:
Laura, I didn't mean just the main
characters. You don't even hear French
in the background. (DVD) - mandie
