Debated Goofs - Commented Goofs - Corrected Goofs - Explained Goofs

  • In the few ending scenes in the showdown, two character get blown into a cement coulum, the next scene when they get up, you can see the coulum is rubber, because when the character pushes itself up, the bas collapses. - JAMMAN
  • When Liam Neeson's sister gets cut by the wire and she leaves he gives the man with him the phone then later on he drops the very same phone of the stairs. - cmkillerx
  • When Catherine Zeta-Jones sees her bed for the firs time, she does a flip onto the bed from the foot of it but somehow her head ends up on the pillow.
  • In the part when Nel is first in the Green Room, the fountain of the blue guy has water coming out of his mouth, however in the next shots there is no water coming out. There, in one scene, is a part where you can hear the water but there is none!! - viper catcher
  • In the scene where Theo and Nell first enter the spinning carnival like room, they are seen twice. Once in a shot from behind them and on from an overview of the room. I am not sure if this is a mistake, but is sure a waste of film. - HorrorMovies
  • In the beginning of the movie when Nell (Liam) reaches the mansion, a town or a whole row of houses can be seen in the background. Now in the part where the old woman tells her that there wont be anyone around for nine miles to hear her if she needs help, why is it that the houses were so close then? - Hermione (Christina)
  • In the scene where the guy who looks like a kid gets his head torn off by the flu, shouldn't his body get picked up instead of his head being torn off? Maybe the script guy just had a craving for gore. - Greg
    • Addition: His body is supposed to fly back wards when his head gets torn off. Let's face it, our heads are screwed on pretty tight. (VHS) - gregory
  • When Nell runs into the spinning room to get away from Krane. When she sees Carolyn's in the mirror, if you notice the room magically stops spinning. - josh howell

Corrected Goofs

  • After the painting was written in blood "Welcome Home Eleanor." Liam Neeson says that the Dudley's were going to take care of it. But, the Dudley's are never seen, yet the blood is removed. Also the painting is a print, you can see from the reflections of the light that it is a print. Wasn't it supposed to be made 200 years ago? - HorrorMovies
    • Correction: They don't HAVE to show everytyhing that happens. If they leave out the Dudleys cleaning up the words it doesn't mean it wouldn't happen, also, Do you really think theywould be able to have a real 200 year old painting in their movie? - person

Explained Goofs

  • Every time there is a image of the house shown from the sky the clock tower always reads the same time. - Shrill
    • Explanation: The clock tower probably shows the same time throughout the movie because the house is OLD and it probably does not run anymore. Who'd want to go up to that creepy old house to keep the clock going, anyways? - Just Me
