• When Karen gets in the car with Henry after Bruce kicks her out of the car her white shirt is all dirty around the collar, when Henry puts the gun in her hand after beating Bruce up her shirt is clean. - sportstergirlny

• When Joe Pesci shoots Samuel L. Jackson, in the first shot, you can clearly hear him talking to him, just before he shoots him (like a millisecond before). In the same scene from a different angle, it shows big Joe Pesci walk all the way around Samuel L Jackson and shoot him. But not once does Joe Pesci open his mouth. - Jeff

• The most hilarious goof to me is when Karen is visiting Henry in prison. Keep a close eye on the kids' colored blocks that are on the table! - reinvestor420
  • Addition: The blocks on the table change color when the camera does if you look for it you will see what I mean. - D

• Another good one is when the guy is trying to convince Paulie to take a piece of the club. At the end of the conversation, Paulie says "It's not even fair, no?!". Keep an eye on his cigar during this part. - reinvestor420
  • Addition: In the scene where the restaurant owner is speaking with Paulie you can see that Paulie is smoking a cigar from one angle, but then when it cuts to a different angle, the cigar is gone. - moviefan

• A verbal mistake by Martin Scorcese's father playing Vinnie, in the prison scene with wiseguys cooking dinner. Listen carefully, Big Paulie, on screen razor slicing garlic says, "Vinnie, don't put too many onions in the sauce." Off screen, Scorcese Sr replies, "I didn't put too much onions in Vin, er, Paul." - kev6133

• Johnny Roastbeef's new bride, in the Xmas celebration just after the robbery. The scene was apparently "blocked out" in order to show Jimmy, Johnny, and his bride in the foreground, and Henry & Karen in the background. Watch the bride. She clearly looks down to check her mark on the floor, and even turns to look at Liotta and Bracco to make sure they're in the frame. Look at Bracco's eyes as if she was saying to Johnny's bride, "turn around, dummy, and play the scene. They're filming this take." - kev6133

• In "Goodfellas" after hearing some "distressing news" Jimmy Conway (Robert De Niro) emerges from a telephone booth (presumably a prop) and kicks it. Although out of shot, we hear the booth fall over. - microstax

• Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta are standing in a parking lot of a diner against the back end (trunk) of a 1965 Chevy Impala and the caption reads Idelwind airport 1963. - Joseph DeAngelis

• In the scene where Tommy shoots Stacks, when they walk into the bedroom the chair next to the refridgerator is empty, when Tommy walks out there is a sock hanging on the arm. (DVD) - MikeAngelino

• In the same scene, Tommy walks 180 degrees from the doorway wall of the bedroom and shoots Stacks 4 times from behind, splattering the blood on the doorway wall beneath the hanging picture, then walks out of the room looking and talking to Frank Carbone. In the slow motion replay during the Ray Liotta dialogue, Tommy walks all the way around the room and shoots Stacks 5 times, from the side and the blood is on the wall before he even shoots the gun. When he exits the room Frank Carbone isn't even in the doorway. (DVD) - MikeAngelino

• A Boeing 747 goes flying by in the Idlewind 1963 scene. The 747 wasn't commissioned to fly until 1969. - Doc3d

• Watch for the rear window brake light in some of the car scenes. They didn't exist back then for those cars. - VinceVega

• (Revealing mistakes) When Liotta pistol whips Karen's ex in the face, you can clearly see the victim put his hand on his face to apply fake blood. - VinceVega

• (Anachronisms) In the scene where Karen is too afraid to accept free clothes from Jimmy and speeds off, the yellow NY state license plate falls from the parked car to reveal the modern white one underneath. - VinceVega

• (Revealing mistakes) When Tommy shoots Stacks, the blood is clearly spattered from another source. - VinceVega

• (Revealing mistakes) In the scene when Jimmy and Henry are at Mori's wig store, Jimmy has the phone wire wrapped around Mori's neck and Mori is holding the phone in his hand. The phone then rings out which wouldn't be possible with the handset off the receiver. - Dazza

• In the house that the cops go to on the table in front of the kitchen breakfast window it's kind of bare, when Karen asks Henry for money there is a big white plate displayed there. - sportstergirlny
