  • When Jason kills Burt, he takes his weapons and belt. But in the scene immediately following Burt's death, Jason (while holding up Burt's severed arm) is wearing the belt before he has the opportunity to put it on. - Michael
  • When the group of kids enter the police station, Cort has his headphones around his neck, then a few shots later, he takes them off his ears. (VHS) - Danielle
  • Cort's shirt rolls itself down inside the motorhome. (VHS) - Danielle
  • Officer Pappas reports Megan's license plate number even though she is driving backwards and there is no license plate on the front. (VHS) - Danielle

Explained Goofs

  • In Part V, the mayor tells Sheriff Tucker that Jason was cremated, but at the beginning of this movie, Jason is buried and exhumed.
    • Explanation: Either the mayor was lying in order to dispel rumors (not wanting the townspeople to freak out at the thought of Jason rising from the dead), or he was mistaken altogether. - Michael R.
