  • When the paramedics are rolling Jason, his feet are not facing them, but when they come into the room with Axel, Jason has switched postions. (VHS) - Danielle
  • When Paul dances with Tina, she takes off his cap and puts it on, but a few shots later, Paul has it back on. (VHS) - Danielle
  • Doug's hair changes between shots when he is in the shower. (VHS) - Danielle
  • When Jason crushes Doug's head in the shower, his hockey mask has two red marks near the nose. But later, the red marks are gone. (VHS) - Danielle
  • When Sara goes into the second floor bathroom to dry her hair, there is a bench in the hall. Later, when Jason chases Trish upstairs, the bench has moved across the hall. (VHS) - Danielle
  • While Paul is being attacked by Jason in the lake, you can actually see the wires attached to Paul (Alan Hayes), obviously lifting him up. - Michael R.

Explained Goofs

  • Rob's story that he is hunting for bears seems implausible to Tommy Jarvis, who then tells him that there are no bears in the area. Yet in Part 2 (which takes place a few days earlier), Paul (John Furey) gives talks about bear safety, claiming that bears wander around in the woods. - Michael
    • Explanation: Tommy could have been mistaken. However, it seems more likely that the speech on bear safety in Part 2 was just a joke, and Paul's way of trying to scare everyone into staying at the camp. This might also explain why we never see any bears (or even evidence to suggest that bears lived in the area). - Kane
