  • At the end when they get off the plane, the first two passengers that get off are the French speaking teacher that died in the initial crash and the Female teacher that died in the house explosion. Possibly the movie ran short of money and had to re-use actors? - JoyRide
  • At the beginning of the movie Alex "opens" the ventilation port on the airplane; but when you look at the valve (and remember yourself how they work!) he actually *closes* it, but the next shot shows his hair blowing. - Scott
  • In the funeral scene when Alex walks over to the monument and stands next to Mrs. Lewten, he lifts up his head and it jerks up in a fast motion letting you see wher they cut. - Cerasi
  • When Clear is in her garage talking with Alex, her hair on one side is straight, the camera goes onto a shot of Alex, then back to Clear, where her hair is curled, the camera goes back to Alex then to Clear again where her hair is once again straight. - psycho pikachu gurl
  • Plane takes off minutes after 7 people are removed; after Lockerbie, their luggage would have first to be removed, a delay of an hour or more.
  • Clear's hair in the garage when she takes off her welding helmet is curled, then straight, then curled again.
  • At the mortuary, there's a shot of Tod from above as the mortician talks. The draining/embalming tubes are clearly seen lying right next to Tod's neck. No big deal, except that the mortician removes them in the NEXT scene. (DVD) - White Wolf
  • When the flying metal decapitates Billy, the train is moving from right to left. There is no possible way for the metal piece to do anything other than move in that same direction, as the train's dragging chain picks it up and sends it airborne. The metal (and consequently Billy's head) end up traveling from the left side of the screen to the right - which totally defies the laws of physics. (DVD) - White Wolf
  • During Alex's premonition, how is it that the skin on his face gets burned off, but his hair remains relatively unscathed? (DVD) - White Wolf
  • Before the teacher (who dies in the fire) is struck in the neck with the piece of the computer, there is a shot where she is packing the boxes and hears a noise. If you look closely, when she moves her head, you can see the prosthetic neck she is wearing (for the next shot when her throat is cut) (its on the DVD). - Kay D
  • In the scene where they are all arguing in front of the restaurant, prior to that girl getting hit by the bus,if you look in the direction the bus was coming from, it would have had to have jumped over that excavator and that backhoe that were totally blocking that intersection-which would explain the high rate of speed it was traveling. - fuzz
  • The news coverage of the plane explosion in the beginning looks exactly like the footage they showed in 1996 when Flight 800 blew up in the air over Long Island. - TAZ
  • If there was a thunderstorm shouldn't they have delayed the flight until the storm was over and also if someone is going crazy onboard and needs to be taken off that also makes the takeoff delayed for a hour. - TAZ
  • When Billy is on his bike with a brown paper bag and Carter is chasing him in his car, when Billy falls off his bike and lands in the road what happens to his bag? It seems to disapear and the only thing left is the run over fodd thing. (DVD) - smallsez

Commented Goofs

  • There is scene where a dead teenager is laying on the mortician' table while two other teenagers are talking to the mortician. When the camera gets an overhead view, you can see the dead boy's eyes blinking. - April
    • Comment: You people are stupid!! ~sigh~ If his arm lifted up because of the embalming chemical wouldn't that give him reason to blink?!? - Cerasi
      • The way I see it, no matter what - dead people don't blink.

Corrected Goofs

  • Near the end of the movie, the main character is going across a lake in a canoe. Throughout the whole scene, he keeps the row on the same side. Would he not be going in circles if this happened? - Zeke
    • Correction: See, I watched this movie and I freaked. It got me thinking. But when I saw the goof of the dead boy blinking, I decided to look for the goofs. The boy blinking is right. He does blink. At the canoe scene, He takes strokes on both sides of the canoe, not just one, Zeke is wrong. He takes strokes on both sides. Finally, at the end of the movie, When you see the people getting off the plane, you do NOT see the two teachers that died. You don't see the bald French speaking teacher leave, and, There is a women that sort of resembles the teacher that died in the explosion. Thank You Very Much. - Tom
  • When they are boarding the 747 in the beginning, there is a shot where he looks out the window and sees the wing from behind. But his actual seat location is about 8-10 seats forward of the wing. - ChucknSteph
    • Correction: Someone said that Alex Brownings (Devon Sawa) seat is in front of the wing, ACTUALLY, I got the movie on DVD, and watched it. Remember when that lady that processed his ticket said that his seat was 9/25. Well, if you look closely, when he gets on the plane, he glances at the seat he sits in, and it is row 25. If I am right, row 25 would be at the BACK of the plane, much less the wing. So I think ChucknSteph is wrong. - Tom
      • Correction: The seat number in not 9/25, but the departure time. Watch the movie again; the lady says "September 25th, 9:25. Your birthday is the same as your departure time." - jan
    • Correction: Well the argument about where Alex sits in front of or behind the wing is actually that he sits behind it as he is in row 25 as you can see and he is at the back, he then moves to sit next to Tod and is next to the wing. Remember he gets on the plane and the door he goes though is in the middle so he goes to the back of the plane. Did u notice he sat in row 25 letter (I) which is the 9th letter in the alphabet so he sits in 25,9 his birthday and departure time. (DVD) - smallsez
  • Valerie Lewton was drinking cheap vodka which would have been no higher than 40% alcohol. At that volume, it would not have caught fire.
    • Correction: I've seen 40% vodka burn myself, it's not at all impossible. - Pyro979
