• In the scene where Lil says "I'm just a small time gal, tryin' to make it the big bad city" and then she says she's from Piedmont, North Dakota. Piedmont is in South Dakota actually. - Abercutie

• In the beginning of the movie where Violet meets the REAL Kevin for the first time, in back of the bar, Kevin's boss comes out to yell at him and then goes back into the bar, in the next shot you can see his boss RE-enter the same door that he just went into during the last shot. - Maria

• When violet signs the paper to be hung on "the wall" the v and the s are different from the way she signed it once it is hung on the wall. Then when they flash back to it, it is the way she signed it. - kat

• Violet's first night at the bar, a guy orders eight shots, Violet is confused so Kimmy says "I've got it" She lines the glasses up in two rows of four then when you see her pour, the glasses are in one long line of eight! - kat

• When Violet gives her tape to Kevin he keeps it and it isn't until later that she realizes he has it. But in the meantime, you see her handing her tape to someone else while Kevin is suppose to have it. - kyara
  • Correction: When "Jersey" gives the tape 2 Kevin and then is goin around trying to get someone to take her tape, Kyara said thats not possable because Kevin had the tape, but since she sent out a bunch of tapes that would mean she had many copies. - Paige

• In the scene at the bar when violet gets on the stage to dance to the Kid Rock song, cowboy, her hair goes from wet to dry to wet again.

• When Violet comes back home after the first night with Kevin, she goes into her apartment, runs the water in the bathtub, and looks at her wad of money and says, "spend it." Well, she's about to go out the door and spend it when Kevin comes back, so they never show her really leave, but this whole time the bathtub is running, so she was about to leave the house with it on! - kyara

• The part when Violet (piper perabo) and Adam Garcia meet in the back of the club when she is giving him her tape, the head chef guy that was yelling at him opens the door to the back of the club and walks in then the camera switches to Vi again and then back to Adam and in the background you see the chef guy just opening the door and walking in again. - Peurtochica

• The day Violet goes out to submit her demo tapes at different places she is wearing a denim skirt, white shirt and denim jacket. Later, she goes home, changes into light jeans and a lavender long sleeve tee, grabs her guitar and goes to an "open mic night"; when she comes home to find her apartment ransacked she's back in the skirt, white top and jacket.
