- Near the beginning of the film, John hits
his head on the glass of his dorm room window
and cuts his forehead. The amount of blood
changes a few times. - Nate
- Also there were 7-8 scenes where overhead
microphones were visible - a couple of times
over Alicia's head, once in the left corner
of the screen. (Theatre)
- Just before the scene containing the Tupperware
goof, there is a scene showing the babies
pacifier. This style pacifier was not introduced
until the very late 1970's. (Theatre) - Duegi
- At the podium, you see John has the handkerchief
Alicia gave him in his suit pocket. But the
distinctive embroidered flowers disappear
during the speech.
- In the end, when everybody is setting pens
on the table, they start doing it with one
alignment that is not the same after several
(four or five) pens. First, the pens are set
pointing the near edge of the table, but then
they are shown being set with the opposite
position (getting near the center of the table).
(Theatre) - Sebulba
- In the car chase scene, Ed Harris fires
a Colt .45 semi-auto handgun about 11-12 times
without reloading. The gun he's shooting holds
seven in the magazine and one in the chamber,
for a total of eight...but as we later learn
that Harris' character is a product of Nash's
delusion, it doesn't matter! (DVD) - Kieth
Moreland
- Just an observation. In one scene, John
Nash (Russell Crowe) teaches a math class
in his T-shirt. For a nerdy math professor,
Nash sure had some big arms and pecs!!!! When
did he get to the gym? - katman
Commented
Goofs
- The style of a burnt orange Tupperware bowl
that John's wife is holding in their kitchen
was not made yet in that year. (Tupperware
introduced that style in the mid-70's I believe).
- Comment: A
grand movie! But I believe the Tupperware
in one scene came out much later. Responses?
Ron Howard did a fantastic job. - niely
- When Alicia comes to
see John in his office for the first time,
she is escorted in by an army MP and comments
that he must be very important. If the military
thing was part of his delusion, why are there
MP's outside his office. (Theatre) - geebo
- Comment:
I don't think that the war stuff was part
of his imagination. Big brother was and
anything having to do with him. If you'll
remember the first time he went to help
crack the code, when he asked about "Big
Brother" in the window the other
men didn't respond. I think the MP might
have been part of his real life work.
- CJ1017
- Comment: My
interpretation is that he did do some
work for the military thus an MP escort
might be real. His own friends commented
on his trips to the Pentagon. However,
he started having illusions regarding
the conspiracy and espionage. - katman
