  Pocahontas (1995)   Buy this movie
  • When the English settlers landed in what would become Virginia, Ratcliff said that he proclaimed this land Jamestown after King James the First. Well, this movie was DURING the reign of James 1 but at that time there was no King James before him so how can they be calling him King James 1 if it was during HIS reign before any other kings named James ruled England? Do you get what I am trying to say? - Beck1
    • Comment: Actually he was the king James the Sixth for the Scots. Only after he became the king of England, too, he was known as "the First". - Saku

  Pokémon: The First Movie (1998)
  • When Mew is telling Mewtwo that the real power comes from the heart, Team Rocket are just sitting there watching it. Why don't they try to steal Mew because he is so rare. And how does Team Rocket know that he is Mew. Know one told them it's Mew. - Dan
    • Correction: Dan, they didn't know it was Mew, so that's why they didn't try to catch it!!! Duh!! Mr. Obvious Man!!! - Cerasi
  • In pokemon the first movie when team rocket are watching as the pokemon are being cloned the first one is "Alakazam" but it appears as "Scyther". - Yoto
    • Addition: In the main hall of mewtwos palace one of the trainers refers to his pidgeot as a pidgeotto in mewtwos lab meowth is naming all the clones as they appear and refers to sandslash as sandshrew. - mr.dark
  • In the storm scene when the pokemon trainers let out their pokemon (Dewgong, Gyrados, and Pidgiot) all are traveling and Pidgiot appears as a fearow. - Yoto
    • Correction: The fearow you saw was Mewtwo's fearow with a camera. - mr.dark
      • Correction: Sorry yoto my bad. It really is a fearow. You'd think the creators would know the difference. - mr.dark
  • Ash and the gang are stark dry after their swim in the ocean-At the start, Pikachu electrocutes a Golem-but they are immune to electricity. - The briggster
  • When Ash and the gang talk to the guy at the table with a Pidgeot, Ash says "How did you get here" and the guy says, "It was easy, hurricane winds are a breeze for Pidgeotto" but it was a Pidgeot. There are many more goofs like this in this movie and the other movies in the series. - tallteen2
  • Although it is hard to tell the difference between Poliwhirl and Poliwrath, a poliwrath is bulkier. In the song and dance routine, a Poliwhirl kept saying "Poliwrath". - tallteen2

  Pokémon 3: The Movie (2001)
  • When Molly floods her "Dream World" with water when she is battling Misty, Molly floats in the water without even trying. But when Ash and Pikachu are running up the stairs, immersed in water, they can run normally. If Ash was walking normally, he would push off the stairs and float! Also, Pikachu knows 5 attacks- Agility, Quick Attack, Thundershock, and Thunder. In the game, Pokemon can only learn 4. - PyRoPHiLe
    • Correction: PyRoPHiLe told us that Pikachu knew five moves - (Agility, Quick Attack, Thundershock, and Thunder) the list that PyRoPHiLe has given only contains 4 moves. Sorry, You goofed the goof! - Lagujay

Police Academy 3: Back in Training (1986)
  • In the scene where officer hightower and another policeman throw tear gas through a window of a shelter where the cadets are, hightower makes a hole in the wall because he's not able to shoot the tear gas THROUGH the window, but in the next shot where the cadets are coming out of the shelter, there is no hole in the wall. - tochi

Police Academy 6: City Under Siege (1989)
  • Near the beginning at the bank the big/fat tough guy picks up the manager of the bank and uses him to open the meatal bars/safe. A little bit before he hits you can tell they change scenes and replace the managers body with a dummy. (VHS) - Dill Pickles

Police Story (1985)    Buy this movie
  • In one scene where Jackie Chan is driving a wrecked car with a girl, when the camera makes a two-shot, Jackie is wearing the seatbelt, but when it switches to a close up on Jackie, he is NOT wearing the seatbelt. The camera goes on a two-shot again, and he's wearing it again! - tochi

Police Story III: Supercop (1992)    Buy this movie
  • In this Jackie Chan-Michelle Yeoh starrer, there is a scene where Jackie is riding a small red car in pursuit of Michelle who's on top of a truck. When Michelle falls on Jackie's car, she lands on the car's windshield, smashing it, but in the next scene, the windshield is still intact. - tochi

  Poltergeist (1982)   Buy this movie
  • When e-buzz is roaming around the house at the beginning, looking for food, you can see someone walk past the door of one bedroom, and when we go in, we find that the older sister (the late Dominique Dunne) is asleep in her bed. So, who is it, because the ghosts hadn't arrived yet? - StevieB
  • When Diane (Jobeth Williams) is ferreting in the cupboard and turns around to find all the chairs are on the kitchen table, there are two things here. In the reflection of a metal pot on the worktop, you can see someone moving around in the background (presumably crew putting the chairs on the table as this scene was shot in just one take!) - StevieB
  • Second goof in this scene is that at the same time, you can see the leaves on the pot plant move when someone brushes against them (again to put the chairs on the table). - StevieB
  • When Diane is running through the back garden with her family, having coffins exploding up from the ground around her, it's not carol Anne (Heather O'rourke) in her arms, but a doll - look at the differences in hair length and the "child" is too static to be heather. - StevieB
  • In the scene where Carol Anne is about to be sucked into the closet (the first time), she's holding onto the bed. It starts to break apart, but you can clearly see that when her hand finally leaves the headboard, none of it actually comes loose. Yet seconds later, as she's flying towards the closet, she's somehow holding a large chunk of it. - Phroso

  Poltergeist III (1988)
  • Ok, here goes, and I know this may sound confusing, but bear with me. In the scene when Donna is doing her make-up in the bathroom, Carol Anne says "hey, you look great". Then there is a knock on the door. Donna opens it, and Carol Anne says "hey you look great". Ooooh, creepy! Now, when Donna comes out of the bathroom, have a look at the mirror between Carol Anne and Donna. You can see a crew member bending over in the reflection. - StevieB

  Pontiac Moon (1994)
  • (Factual errors) During the scene where Ted Danson's character and his son are viewing the night sky, he comments about the constellation Orion. Now this scene took place during July 1969. The constellation Orion is too close to the sun to be seen in July! Orion is a winter constellation. (VHS) - Frank

  • When the lady mayor is in the Space Needle in Seattle, WA, the restaurant is not revolving like it always does! - Black Sheep

  • In the beginning, the Koreans threw bombs that never went off. - Sue
  • There was no show of prejudice towards Koreans. - Sue
  • The slang was inaccurate. - Sue
  • The movie was not graphic at all, and wouldn't there be just a hint of negativism towards superiors when they order you to death? Hmm.... - Sue

Porky's II: The Next Day (1983)
  • Anyone who has seen the first 2 PORKY'S film will remember how the Mickey Jarvis character got the crap beat out of him during the first one (he was even wearing bandages and crutches) and how during the sequel, which is suppose to take place on the next day, he has no bruises, no bandages and no crutches. (TV) - Soulman

  Powder (1995)
  • Although they make reference to Powder being COMPLETELY hairless several times in the movie, you can clearly see that he has eyelashes. - WomanOfFlame

  Powerpuff Girls, The (2002)
  • (Continuity) At the beginning of the movie when Professor Utonium tucks the girls into bed, Bubbles is holding her beloved toy octopus Octi. Then the Professor goes down to the living room to pick up after the girls, and Octi is among the toys lying on the living room floor. - OldFogey
  • (Factual errors) In Pokey Oaks Kindergarten, over the blackboard there is an A-B-C chart. The chart has no letter "W" in it. - OldFogey

Practical Magic (1998)    Buy this movie
  • Right before the sisters put the dead boyfriend on the table, there are two stacks of towels on the table. Then in the next scene, just before they toss him up there, they're gone. - angel

Preacher's Wife, The (1996)   Buy this movie
  • When Courtney Vance's character (Preacher) meets Denzel Washington's character (Angel) for the first time, Vance is seated in his car and Washington is standing on the sidewalk. They converse through the opening in the car's right-side, front passenger window. Depending on who's view is being shown, the window's level is always different by about six inches from shot to shot. Kieth Moreland

  Predator (1987)   Buy this movie

  Predator 2 (1990)
  • When the predator adds the Jamaican lord's skull to the trophy case, one of the other trophies strongly resembles the skull of one of the creatures from the Alien movie series. Although they have merged the two movies in comics and in some games, are they setting something up with another movie in mind? Either way it would make a cool movie, huh?
    • Explanation: Yes the "Alien" trophy skull is the filmmaker's personal homage to that great film and is supposed to be obvious. - dagoldfish
  • In a scene where Danny glover's character is driving his car while following the alien, he crashes his car in a fence made of galvanized iron sheets. The sheets (about 2 or 3 pieces) cling to the hood of the car and when he stops, the sheets fall in front of the car, but when they cut to a full shot, the g.i. sheets that are supposed to be lying in front of the car are gone. - tochi
  • At the start of the movie, when Danny Glover is looking for a gun in the trunk of his car, he takes a gun which is packed in a black wrapping at the upside of the trunk. Later in the movie, when he once again takes a gun out of his trunk (when he got out of the truck), the black wrapping is gone, and you can't even see that it had once been there. (TV) - Bart
  • This is not a goof, but it is rather strange. When you look at all the skulls the predator has selected, you'll see that all the skulls (or most of them) are a LOT bigger than the human skull. As you can see the skull of an Alien from the movie Alien (1 to 4), you'll know that these predators are (almost) perfect killers. Then, it is really unbelievable that a predator gets killed because of one guy! - Bart
    • Explanation: Even the best hunters can be taken down by something smaller than them. The predator didn't appear to have his guard up, so it was easy for him to be defeated. If you drop your guard when dealing with an enemy, you're as good a dead. - Asertix

  Presumed Innocent (1990)
  • (Revealing mistakes) In the scene where the all the reporters are talking to Harrison Ford, you can see one of the reporters holding a tape recorder, but the tape recorder has no tape in it. - Devo
    • Not necessary a move goof, just a careless reporter.
  • (Plot holes) Wondering: if the killer's intent was to have the crime end up as unsolved, why were fingerprints pointing to a specific individual planted? Did the killer plan with one motivation in mind and then reconsider later? - Jeff

  Pretty Woman (1990)

Prince of the Tides, The (1991)   Buy this movie

Nick Nolte as Tom Wingo
Barbara Streisand as Susan Lowenstein

  • Nolte and Streisand always uses a cab, which number is 6x24. That's quite a coincidence, because there are about 12.000 legal cabs in New York.
    • I'd like to know how many times they use the same cab. If you know, let me know. The problem is that who would watch a Streisand movie voluntary? ;)

Princess Bride, The (1987)   Buy this movie

  Princess Diaries, The (2001)
  • As if anyone will care, but in the state dinner sequence all the Genovian male officials are wearing medals. Although most the guests are anything but Americans, all the decorations are U.S. military awards including the Distinguished Flying Cross. - Kieth Moreland
  • Just after Mia walks into the tent on the beach the girl that was standing right next to the tent suddenly jumps several feet without time to do so. (DVD) - mandie
  • The day after Mia finds out she's a princess, and she gets a ride to school in the limousine with her friend (forget her name). That afternoon it is showing Mia and her friend going home on scooters. Where did they get those from? It didn't show them having scooters going to school, and why didn't they take the limousine home anyway? (VHS) - Donica
    • Explanation: Although I cannot explain the scooter thing, I think I can explain the limousine thing. Didn't Mia want to keep the fact she was a princess under wraps? A limousine would be a little suspicious don't you think? - tallteen2
  • In the scene where Mia and Lilly are on the bleachers after the school found out she was a princess lily was telling her all the reasons not to be a princess it shows Mia falling down on the bleachers. Which was an accident because the bleachers were very wet. They just kept going with the scene and the filmmakers kept it in cause they thought it looked very natural. (DVD) - Kim
  • When the young princess is driving in the limo with hector Elizado for the first time, it shows her sitting in the middle of the back seat, and the next shot of her, she is sitting near the right window buckled up... I don't think so. lol. (DVD/VHS)
  • In the beginning of the movie the dude gets some soup and a few shots later he has it. He starts eating and then a few shots later the soup is served. But he already has it? Weird. ( DVD/VHS/TV) - Danie
  • (Crew/equipment visible) If you look on the cover of the movie and look into Mia's sunglasses you can just barely see the camera man. (DVD) - mr. bigglesworth
    • Addition: Here is a big picture of the cover. You can see something there, yes. - Webmaster

  • This film in witch Paul Newman plays an author who receives the Nobel Prize takes place in Stockholm, Sweden. In one scene the lead character falls from Katarinahissen ("The Katarina Lift") and ends up in Strömmen (a part of the water that runs through Stockholm). In reality he should have landed on a street, since the distance between the Katarinahissen and the water is over 100 meters. - Olav Westerman

  • After Russell Crowe infiltrated the camp and took David Morse out of his cage, there were two bad guys running after them. Crowe sets up an explosive, holds the detonator and asks Morse to go on ahead. Watch closely as the shots switch between Crowe and the bad guys. Before detonation, you can clearly see the wires on the two bad guys. These wires are supposed to lift the bad guys to make it appear as if they were blown away. But the sad part is, the smoke from the explosion covered the whole scene up! - bitoy
  • I find it odd that Crowe's character would create a plan that would sent hundreds of natives to there death to rescue two white people... Oh, well I guess they can make more natives O_o. - Gunter Prim

  Psycho (1960)

  • Janet Leigh is lying dead in the shower after the shower scene and the "dead" body swallows. - S.S.N.F
  • On the very beginning of Psycho, the shadow on the hotel window changes. - Darev
  • As Marion is controlled by the police man, the pattern of the back seat changes. - Darev

  Psycho Beach Party (2000)
  • The one thing I noticed about the people this movie is that for a bunch of beach people they look awfully pale. (TV) - Soulman

  Pulp Fiction (1994)

  Punisher, The (1989)
  • (Revealing mistakes) Towards the end of the movie, while shooting his M-4, Frank Castle reloads a full magazine but doesn't release the bolt catch to load in the next round. He does it more then once. That's an important part to continue firing. - Loader

  Puppetmaster (1989)
  • Towards the beginning, right before the main character is entering the medieval building, he puts loose change in a cup. One of these coins is clearly a quarter. - lord cthulu

Puppet Masters, The (1994)    Buy this movie
  • In the beginning of the movie, you see a sign that says "Ambrose, Iowa" and below that, "Pop. 10,079". Later in the movie when Donald Sutherland asks what the population of Ambrose is, someone says "10,001". They had only killed one person before that point, so ACTUALLY the correct answer would have been 10,078! :)  - Scott

Purple Rain (1984)    Buy this movie - Buy Posters
  • Prince's father has got dark, tightly permed hair throughout the movie... until the moment when he's holding a gun and his hair has magically transformed into gray, and that perm sure looks different! - Austin Powers
  • As Prince is on stage, singing Computer Blue, Morris and Appollonia show up outside in a car. As the camera pans across the windscreen you can clearly see Morris mouthing some words to Jerome although a completely different dialogue is being spoken. - Austin Powers
  • This is the scene where Prince tricks Applonia into jumping nude into the lake. When she attempts to get back onto his motorcycle, he pulls off, and drives around in circles. While driving around you'll notice that at one moment there's treads on the back tires, and the next moment, no treads. (Format: TV) - Soulman
  • The scene when "The Kid" father tried to commit suicide, after everyone leave "The Kid" have flashbacks showing a chalk outline of his father but his father did not die. They only do chalk outline when someone dies. - Leo
  • Apollonia's hair is always changing in the movie. At the top of the film her hair goes from nicely styled and curled to messy and windblown, to styled, to windblown and then styled again, all within the span of what's supposed to be probably half an hour. This also happens alot throughout the movie as well. (VHS) - Sean
  • Also, when she gets out of the lake her hair is wet, and when she and Prince ride off on his motorcycle, it's dry again. This is probably a stunt woman, but it would've helped with continuity if they wet the stuntwoman's hair as well. (VHS) - Sean
  • During the scene when Prince is singing "Little Nicky" and he starts singing "and little Nicky started to grind...", Appolonia runs through the crowd to get out of the club, you can see her strapless top come off revealing one of her breasts - if you look closely. - PrinceFan
