Also, why do they have to drive Willy so far to the ocean, when earlier in the movie, they show his aquarium to be right next to the ocean??? - Spatford
  • Explanation: Yes there was water next to the Adventure park, but they mention in the movie that they would have to go a ways because that was the nearest ramp thing that goes into the ocean. Maybe the water next to the park didn't have a ramp where they could get Willy safely into the water, and that's why they had to travel a few hours to get to the water. - Donica

• At the end of the movie when Willy jumping over the rocks that Jessie is standing on, that is impossible for a killer whale to do because Killer Whales will only jump over something if they know the depth on the other side of what they are jumping over. - annierose

• Why are the ghosts able to go though some surfaces and collide on others? Why is Frank Bannister (Michael J. Fox) able to touch the ghosts alto they occasionally float right through him? • One of the characters (the black guy whose name escapes me) turns into a vampire instantly after being bitten (same time as the priest is bitten). Funny thing is, the black guy turns into a vampire INSTANTLY, while all other characters turn into vampires in about 30-60 minutes. In fact, another character mentions the time vampire transformation takes place to the priest, which is the time mentioned above. Either the black man is weak to the vampire curse or someone messed up in the script! - Locke (MCL)

• Near the end of the movie, four vampires are attacking -----. The girl shoots that person with a revolver, after which he explodes violently. I'm sorry, but no bullet is going to do that even if you split the ends with a knife. - Leroy

• In this movie, based loosely on Jules Verne's novel, four people are fired towards the Moon by a gigantic cannon. When, after the start, the crew first look out the window, the sky is black and filled with stars. • Towards the end when they are in the city, one of the soldiers empties his magazine from his M16. Camera cuts to another shot and returns to the previous soldier.  He has no magazine in his rifle. • At the suicide scene (censored) shoots himself with a shotgun through his mouth the blood shoots out the back of his head but really it's just a burst of blood coming from off camera view. - STarscream69

• In the scenes where the marines are running outside the barracks, all the road signs are on the left. The marines are supposed to be in Parris Island, but because this entire film was shot in England, the road signs are all on the left. - jodeerules

• Right before Cowboy gets shot, the Marines line up against a wall with a hole in it. The first time they show the wall, the hole is mostly blocked off. The second time they show it, when Cowboy gets shot, the hole is gigantic.

• In the part of the movie where the drill instructor is explaining all the good shooting in the past but really what he is explaining happened after Vietnam so he wouldn't be able to know all the good shots. - justin
  • Correction: Actually the "good shots" incidents described on the rifle range were, President John Kennedy's assassination (1963), and Charles Whitman's rampage on the Austin campus in Texas (1966). Both happened before the battle of Hue during the Tet offensive in 1968, certainly before these guys got out of basic and over to 'Nam. - EffGee
