  • Towards the end of the movie our hero Jericho Cane rescues Christine from Satan just as he is about to commit the act that would produce the Antichrist. When Jericho enters the room to rescue Christine, one of the weapons he is carrying is automatic rifle-grenade launcher combo. When Jericho and Christine run out of the room, Jericho still has the weapon. As Jericho and Christine are running through a tunnel, Jericho throws the automatic rifle-grenade launcher combo away and continues to run. Jericho runs for a long time without the automatic rifle-grenade launcher combo, he only has a pistol. As Jericho and Christine prepare to leave the tunnel by running up a flight of stairs, you guessed it, Jericho has the automatic rifle-grenade launcher combo. - Whatever

  Enemy of the State (1998)

  English Patient, The (1997)

  • Theme of the movie centers around the nurse caring for the dying English Patient who makes his last days as comfortable as possible. If the timeline is correct. The Patient was shot down on June 1942 after the fall of Trobruk, ended up in Northern Italy in 1944, and dies shortly after the fall of Germany, May 1945. Making it about 3 years to die (not of his injuries). - pat
  • It's been a while since I saw the movie, but in one scene shortly after Ralph Fiennes and the woman are done exploring the terrain and they meet up with her husband, a cellphone rings in the background for a moment. - Star

    • Addition: Oilseed rape was not grown in England until the late 1970s. - Adam Duguid

  Enter the Dragon (1973)
  • Towards the end of the film Han directs his minions to give Bruce a good kicking. When Bruce does a triple-kick on a minion you can see one of the other minions laughing in the background. - Austin Powers
  • Just after Bruce puts the snake in his bag(!) he goes down the hatch using his rope. Next he hides behind a doorway as a nurse goes through it. As she goes out of shot, his shadow just suddenly appears on the floor from out of nowhere. - Austin Powers
  • In the first banquet, Williams (The Black Guy) looks at some food and says - "No. I don't really think so - Thanks!" You can immediately see that his mouth does not match the words he said. - filmcritik
  • Just before the mirrored room sequence, Han smashes a glass panel in an attempt to hit Bruce. If you look closely you can see that, as the glass is being shattered, the person doing it is wearing a perspex mask. (DVD) - Austin Powers

  Entrapment (1999)     Buy this movie
  • In the end of the movie when Catherine Zeta Jones is waiting for Sean Connery on the train platform there is a part before he shows up when they have the camera on a clock from a high level and while it is there the lights along the ceiling suddenly appear. - bobs135
  • When Sean Connery and C.Z. Jones are leaving London in his helicopter, he tells her that 5 computer chips--value $4M apiece--have been stolen and he's placed one in her bag with hotel security. At the end of the movie, when Connery is giving the remaining 4 chips to Ving Rhames, he values the 4 chips at $5m apiece. - jam69
    • Comment: Hey, jam69, Mac is a crook. How do you know when, or if, he's telling the truth? - mandie
  • When Mac and Gin are on the roof of his castle, Mac menacingly puts his right hand on Gin's shoulder and says "I never come up here without dropping something." She says "Well, go ahead." Mac then lets his glass drop from his right hand. However, a fraction of a second ago, his right hand was firmly on Gin's left shoulder and he wasn't holding a glass.
  • When Gin is sneaking through the real lasers, she steps over one making sure her legs clear the laser, but then drags her arms right through it. The camera angle then changes and her arms are going over it. - stevo
  • When Gin is sleeping naked in the bed the second time. The first shot shows the sheet up by her shoulder, and the next shot shows it waaaay down revealing her absolutely gorgeous hips. =0) - stevo
  • When Gin is going through the lasers, just before she steals the mask, she suddenly swaps from a crawling position to standing up. (I don't think even she's that quick.) - mandie

  Eraser (1996)

Arnold Schwarzenegger as John Kruger, the Eraser

  • When Arnold is swiping the credit card through the machine the magnetic strip is up. - CBear
  • Arnold goes to ask help from the person he saves at the beginning of the movie in a bar. After a awhile of talking he picks up his jacket, the shot changes and he is suddenly wearing the jacket, the shot changes again and he has it off. - Te
  • After the rescue of Pizza Man from the building, the ambulance that they ditch in the woods says "Fairfax County" on the door - right county, but Fairfax doesn't have blue van-type ambulances... - Scott
  • In the seen were eraser (Arnold) is falling from the airplane, he is chasing after a parachute. If you watch in slow motion you can clearly see a stunt man who does not resemble eraser at all. - White
  • It's been a long time since I've seen this movie, so I'm not sure on the exact facts about this goof. But I'll give it a go anyway. When Arnold is chasing the bad guy through the hospital he fires something like thirty rounds from his glock (I think it was a glock, I don't remember) which only holds eight rounds in one magazine, unless extended. Even if the gun is something else, I'm pretty sure that the most bullets that any gun can hold is 20 but those are small bullets in a large magazine. I'll quit blabbering now. PS: Moby rules. - Scott F.
  • In the movie, the weapons that were being sold on the black market were said by Denise Williams to be electromagnetic rail guns that fire an aluminum bullet at the speed of light. Aluminum is non magnetic, an electromagnetic field would not accelerate them. - jack ryan
  • Venessa Williams says that the railgun fires aluminum rounds at almost the speed of light. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. First of all, a round going that fast would disintegrate. Second of all, round can not accelerate that fast in the barrel. The gun would explode. - sager

  Erin Brockovich (2000)
  • The scene where Erin is talking to the lawyer (her boss) his neck tie is neatly tied,it cuts to Erin, then cuts back to her boss, the neck tie is untied. - floyddog
  • The scenes where Erin gets fired from the lawyer's office. She slams down her purse at desk in different room and they give her her personal items in a box and she walks out. Next scene, she walks in through her front door at home with no purse and only the box. - Kacee
  • In this movie Julia Roberts writes with her right hand, she is left handed (check out her other movies) - I realize the real Erin Brockovich may be right handed and that is why she writes with the right. But in a scene when she is in the kitchen - she is eating out of a can or something and is using her left hand and does many other things like a left handed person. (I am left handed) (VHS) - mandela
  • In the beginning of the movie when Erin calls her two kids into the house from playing in the sprinklers, they're soaking wet. In the next scene, when they go into the house, the little girl's hair is almost all dry. (VHS) - Mandy

Ernest Scared Stupid (1991)     Buy this movie
  • In the beginning of the movie (kinda at the beginning) when Ernest is jacking his car up with the jack. When it bends and shoots into the other cars windshield it breaks. Right before it hits you can see that it is already broken partly. - Dill Pickles

Escaflowne (2000) [TV-Series]     Buy these series
  • In the 3rd Episode of the dub [uncut], Van says to Allen: "Allen, I apologize for entering your country without permission.. so give me back my guymelef, and give me back my Escaflowne!"- The thing is is that Escaflowne IS Van's guymelef, not to sharp at dubbing correct phrases eh? - G. XVIII

  E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982)

  Event Horizon (1997)
  • (Continuity) After Billy has the dream in the tank and is let out he has a noseplug on but when the camera moves just a bit down, and then up again the noseplug is gone. (This happens fast). Thank you. - anXiety
  • (Factual errors) When the crew first enters the derelict Event Horizon a water bottle floats past baby bear. The water is liquid. - dreemsmith
  • (Factual errors) Baby bear locks himself in in an airlock and jetisons himself into space... between instant decompression and flash freezing, he would have no chance for survival. - dreemsmith

  Ever After (1998)
  • Drew Barrymore plays scissors, paper, rock with her friend. However scissors were not invented back then. - Kate
    • Correction: The movie takes place in about 1540 and the word "scissors" is from the 15th century.
  • It's weird, but at the end of the movie, when Drew Barrymore is crying because Dogray Scott is declaring his love to her, her hair seems to have its own motion, because when the camera is in front of her, her hair is back her shoulders but when the show her back, it is front her shoulders. - Katherine
  • Prince Henry takes his cape off twice at his wedding. (VHS) - Niki
  • When Danielle is emptying cups of corn at the market, she empties one cup, but the next shot still shows her emptying the cup. (VHS) - Niki

  • After the prince loses his tennis ball Jacqueline hands it back to him but he says, "You look well Marguerite". (VHS) - mandie
    • Correction: That's because Marguerite hands him the ball and not Jacueline, it would help if you watched the film! - jude
  • When Danielle and Henry are in the garden, after she has been whipped, when he kisses her, his hand holding her face, but in the next shot it is on her waist. - Nat

Every Which Way But Loose (1978)    Buy this movie
  • When Clint Eastwood fights the guy in the meat processing plant, you can see the perfect faded denim outline of the stunt actor's protective hip pads in his jeans. They must be the same pair of jeans the stuntman used for all his stunts requiring hip pads. - Kieth Moreland

  Evolution (2001)
  • Late in the movie there is a scene, in which the main characters go into an abandoned mine, dragging a long fire hose from the fire truck that they had driven out to the mine. When they are chased out of the mine they drop the fire hose, run back out of the mine, hop back on the truck and drive away. As they are driving away you can see the fire hose neatly coiled back in its original position on the back of the truck. - howard
  • I don't know if you can consider this a goof. Before the closing credits, the three main characters promote head and shoulders shampoo as an effective way to fight dandruff and *****. When they show the shampoo containers they are holding, the label of the the container that Orlando Jones' character is holding is not facing the camera. It is turned the other way. I guess this is so because he got it from his pocket and there was no time to check where the label is facing. - tochi
  • When the shoplifting girl is in the dressing putting on the shirts you notice she puts on a bright pink one. When she answers the door she is no longer wearing it. The shirt is on the hanger. (DVD) - Pookie
  • In the first scene one of the character's (forgot his name) is supposedly practicing a fire rescue. After placing a dummy in an old shack and dowsing it with gasoline, he then lights a match (that isn't blown out by a clearly visible wind, by the way) and throws it through a window in the shack to ignite it into a burst of flame. If you look closely you can see that the match never makes it through the window just before the fire erupts. The match either bounces back off the shack or it never reaches the window due to the gusting wind. (DVD) - Bri
  • When Allison is first introduced to Ira and Harry, watch her hair. From the side angle a piece is behind her ear but from the front it was all down in her face. - Angel
  • Early on in the movie, the scientist/geologist - Harry Block - refers to his membership in the U.S.G.S. as United States Geological "SURVEY". Then further into the movie he refers again to it as the United States Geological "SOCIETY". (DVD) - Bri
  • In the mall scene, when the shoot the flying creature the second time, they pump their shotguns but no spent shell is ejected. Also the appears to be no recoil when they do shoot. - MM

  • When Uther is getting it on with that one lady while her husband falls on the spears, the spears sticking through him change between shots. - David
  • (Spoiler) When Arthur stabs Mordred, a bunch of blood spills out of his mouth but disappears in subsequent shots. - David
  • (Spoiler) At the end of the film, Arthur is ran through with a spear. In the next shot it is gone. - David

  Executive Decision (1996)
  • Steve the Seagull, while leading his commando team to "sweep" it clean needs to turn on the light in that room. He does so with a flick of his wrist, which unfortunately was done about two feet above and a couple of feet to the side of the light switch.
  • This was not a goof, but was an open attempt by the movie to promote an impossible situation. The "stealth plane" they fly in is a "modified" F-117 stealth fighter. The only problem is, as you view the scenes inside the plane, you should ask yourself, how does this plane fly without the jet engine? You see the "belly" of the plane is where the engine is located. Perhaps all of the hot air inside the "crew compartment" is providing the necessary thrust in lue of a jet. - bear
  • (Factual errors) At the end, when the FBI-agent needs to land the 747, he moves the throttle full forward, which will accelerate the plane. - Guido Diemer

  Exit Wounds (2001)

  Exorcist, The (1973)

  • When Reagan is levitating, you can see wires holding her up. - David
    • Correction: I don't know what version you've seen, but there are no visible wires. This is mentioned on the Internet Movie Database (www.imdb.com): "One viewer claims wires lifting Regan over the bed are 'clearly visible' but his idea of 'clearly visible' seems generous." - Nate
  • In the movie Exorcist, Regan's (Linda Blair) mother is walking down the street with Father Damian. She is smoking a cigarette. She then puts the cigarette out on the sidewalk with her foot and puts her hands in her pockets. The very next shot of her (talking with Father Damian) shows a cigarette in her hand again. - Tom

Exterminator, The (1980)    Buy this movie
  • Within the first 10 minutes of the film there is a scene where the main star is being held hostage by the Vietnamese general. To demonstrate his intentions he beheads one of the captured Americans, it cuts to a slow motion shot of the general slicing the Americans head only to show that the head has been already cut. Oh and it is an obvious dummy. - Matt B

Eye for an Eye (1996)    Buy this movie
  • In the opening scene where Sally Field is stuck in a "horrific" car jam she is running around frantically trying to find someone to call the police to help her daughter, who is in trouble. Sally Field manages to find a lady and gets her to call the cops. The next shot we see a close up of sally fields feet as she runs down the street, she is seen clearly to be wearing high heels with beige stockings. The next shot we see a man in a brown suit with glasses watching her. Then in the next shot we see sally field running down the pavement in ... wait for it ... in sneakers and white socks!!!! You have to be quick but it's pretty noticeable. - jezi knight
  • A Hispanic woman is found dead on top of a table. When the camera pans across this scene, she blinks {very visibly} and the shot continues to focus on her face for about 3 more seconds. I don't think that this was supposed to be post-mortem blinking. - Tankgirlmomma

  Eye of the Needle (1981)
  • Donald Sutherland, as a German spy, infiltrates a secret English base containing "phony", or prop, aircraft, vehicles, and equipment for an invasion force meant to thrown the Germans off the Allies real plans for D-Day. While he's there, he walks next to what looks like a 1950's era U.S. Army helicopter. Olav Westerman is the expert on aviation goofs, I think I've read somewhere in this site saying that the U.S. did not have helicopters in the WWII European theatre. - Kieth Moreland

  • In one of the last parts of the that scene (before Tom Cruise gets busted), Tom's walking into a room with an oval table with two girls.. enjoying themselves on said table. There are 2 CGI characters one "end" of the table. When the camera switches angles as Tom passes by, the two CGI characters aren't there anymore. - Rex Fenestrarum
